Students from Malden High got to experience historical sights alongside icons of Spanish art and literature. The tour stopped in 5 major cities throughout Spain. They were able to see masterpieces by Velázquez, Seville's Barrio de Santa Cruz, and the famous Alhambra in Granada. From Madrid’s Palacio Real to the Cathedral of Toledo, discover the many religious and cultural influences that have made Spain the eclectic country it is today.
The students loved the tour amongst the olive trees, seeing the facility where olive oil is made, and finally tasting the fresh varieties. The flamenco dance lesson kept everyone smiling and giggling. There was no shortage of beautiful plazas and tasty cuisine. This was a journey they'll never forget!
